  • Artist: Zbigniew Grzyb (Polish, b. 1943)

Zbigniew Grzyb is a painter who was born and raised in Poland, and now lives in Farmington, Connecticut. He studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Cracow, Poland. His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at museums and galleries, such as the National Museum (Poland), Landmark Gallery (Tarrytown, NY), Paesaggio Gallery (West Hartford, CT), and New Britain Museum of American Art (CT), as well as being held in many collections, including the New Britain Museum of American Art (CT), Peoples Savings Bank (New Britain, CT), Connecticut Bank & Trust (Hartford, CT), and Cisco Corporation (Farmington, CT). Grzyb has also been awarded a New Boston Fund Individual Artist Fellowship, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, and a Polish Ministry of Art and Culture Grant, among other honors and awards.
