  • Artist: Tom Zetterstrom (b. 1945)

Tom Zetterstrom is a proficient photographer, capturing many subjects but is especially passionate about environmental issues, as seen in his Moving Point of View and the ongoing Portraits of Trees. He was born in Canaan, CT, earned his BA from Colorado College (Colorado Springs, CO), and still lives in Canaan today. His work is held in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston, MA), Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington, DC), Florence Griswold Museum (Old Lyme, CT), The High Museum of Art (Atlanta, GA), The Library of Congress (Washington, DC), and Metropolitan Museum of Art (NY), in addition to being show in several group and solo exhibitions. Zetterstrom has also received four Connecticut State Office of the Arts grants, as well as grants and gifts from the Robin Tost Fund, Agfa Corporation, Martha Boschen Porter Fund, Inc., and the Art Resources Trust.
