Connecticut artist Juan J Moreno, born in Colombia, studied at the atelier of David Manzur in Bogota, Colombia, before moving to Connecticut, where he has lived since 1986. He studied figure drawing and portrait painting at the Art Students League of New York and studio art at Western Connecticut State University. His work has been in many exhibitions and is in private and public collections. Juan taught studio art and art history at the college level in Connecticut.
