Title: For What it’s Worth
Even though this song was
considered an anti-war song, Stephen Stills was inspired to write the song because of the Sunset Strip curfew riots in Los Angeles in November 1966, a series of early counterculture-era clashes that took place between police and young people on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Something’s aren’t always what they seem. I love the juxtaposition of interpretation this song has had on both Vietnam vets and Anti War protesters alike.
This piece is the first Augmented Reality neon piece I have done. It will be debuted at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair July 13-16th
