Because of our travel, I was homeschooled through high school, graduating in 2023. During that time, I focused on creative writing, photography, and developing my interest in glass art. I later attended Colorado State University, studying creative writing and art while spending 20–30 hours each week at the Nancy Richardson Design Center learning woodworking, metalworking, and digital design processes.
I began working with stained glass in 2020 using supplies passed down from my grandmother. Starting with copper foil and solder techniques, I created three-dimensional sculptures such as floral forms and jewelry display trees. I also began recycling glass bottles into etched drinking vessels.
In 2023, I expanded into resin work, creating resin-encased stained-glass fish inspired by the ocean. Since then, my practice has evolved into glass mosaics built onto surfboards, skim boards, snowboards, skis, and tables. My recent work has expanded into lamp-worked glass as well as further experimentation with kilns and glass fusing, continuing my exploration of the processes and wonder of glass.
