Artist Bio
Angelina Springer is a 20-year-old St. Croix artist. Her work shifts between character design and portraiture, occasionally focusing on social issues and introspection.
Angelina uses a variety of mediums to make art, such as paint markers, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and scrap paper. She blends these mediums with collage techniques and personal anecdotes. She uses lyrics and artists’ motifs to create vivid imagery. Movies also influence her artwork; Angelina often incorporates quotes and scene references to relate to her emotions. Much of her work is merged with bright colors and typography. Since high school, her work has been featured at CHANT, CMCArts, Maufé Art Gallery, and Eliana B. Artistry. Angelina hopes her artwork encourages other young artists to publicize their art and embrace the local artist community. Find her on Instagram @aesarts.
