To the unaided eye, the piece looks to be in very good condition. Close inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a normal florescence of artist’s pigments. There are three small areas of inpainting restoration in the upper left of the painting, in the area of painted sky. The largest of these is approximately ½ inch by 1 ¼ inch. The piece is framed in a rustic wood frame with a gold edge and linen inner liner. The frame is in very good condition with normal wear.
