In these bright, small-scale works, the remnants of scaffolds, tools, and stacked materials flicker between form and fragment. Acidic greens and pale blues carry the charge of spring, when growth pushes against residue, and labour gives way to renewal. The paintings trace a site in flux, balancing the weight of construction with the fragile joy of a garden taking shape.

What begins as labour and demolition becomes mapped anew, each painting carrying the residue of work alongside the promise of renewal. In their shifting lines and translucent washes, the works balance the weight of construction with the fragile joy of a garden taking shape.
