Mitosis
Visions of mind travelling far
Finds the atom of her eye, forged in a star
Of starlight we are, now sheathed in skin
Frequency in form, a flameglow within
Dividing to conquer the light we pursue
When the Knowing’s divided, how is it true?
When I see red, I cannot see green
How can I not see what’s already seen?
When I see gold, I cannot see blue
If it cannot be measured, then how is it true?
The single cell, she divides and multiplies
Oneness dissected, a Truth dichotomised
One become two, two become four
A fleeting perception now spoken in lore
Four to sixteen, sixteen to thirty-two
An infinite legion of cells become You
