Statue depicts a mythical griffen with both back legs in a crouched poistion. Proper right leg is extended outwars with paw making what appears to be a stopping or halting gesture. Both wings are outstretched and pointing back directly behind the statue. Both are up and mouth is open, tongue extended. Tail is curled back and is resting on the proper left hand side of rump.
