Phillips completed the fieldwork/fieldwalking art, science and walking PhD in 2006 and will shortly be travelling to the Subantarctic. She has worked with minerals, landscapes, termites, bowerbirds and other things at the intersections of human and nonhuman worlds. Recent exhibitions include PICA Salon Vernissage (2014), Canopy: Into the forest (Mundaring Arts Centre 2014), “Shadow-Lands II”: Not I/thou (Dennys Lascelles Exhibition Gallery, Deakin University 2014), fast|slow|complex (solo, Spectrum Project Space 2013) and Novel Ecologies (Cross Arts Projects, Sydney 2013). Her work can be seen in the collections of the School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, Murdoch University, Cosmology Gallery, Gravity Discovery Centre, Gingin, Department of Geography, Royal Holloway, University of London and private collections, Australia, UK, USA, Canada.
