A small impressionistic study of the sea, this work features a lyrical colour palette and is an unusual example of this respected Fremantle-based artist, whose work is often seen in the form of sculptures and drawings of animals. Her work is commonly highly metaphorical or symbolic, and based in folklore, fables, metaphors and myths.

Susan has paintings and sculptures in collections such as Art Gallery of WA, Murdoch University, Curtin University, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Central TAFE and the University of WA. Susan is also the current Mark Howlett Foundation recipient.
