Artist: Paul Hinchliffe
Paul Hinchliffe (1952 – 2022) was an eminent and influential English-born West Australian artist. He was one of the co-founders of Gallery Heimatlos, a ‘nomadic’ art space that extends art spheres of influence beyond the confines of traditional art spaces and boundaries.
Hinchcliffe first studied Foundation Studies and Industrial Design at the Newton Abbot College of Art, United Kingdom graduating in 1972. In 1991 he completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Edith Cowan University, WA before completing his Master of Visual Arts at Curtin University, WA in 1998. Hinchcliffe was also a freelance writer, curator and university lecturer
