Kerise Delcoure is a local artist, living in Sorrento, who has extensive experience with mural commissions. Delcoure’s studio practice includes original artworks, private commissions, and murals.
Delcoure has a process-oriented approach to her practice, with a love for layers, repetition, and detail which formulated from a background in textiles and interest in pattern and colour. Her practice explores and celebrates Australia’s flora and fauna, with particular emphasis on birds and plants that inhabit Western Australia. Much of her inspiration comes from visits to local parklands, where she loves walking, exploring, birdwatching and observing beautiful and interesting plant life. As an artist, she aims to celebrate the unique, diverse and fragile natural world around us.
