Horatio T. Birdbath is a senior artist and, although he has no formal training, the artist has a significant career as the original street artist of Western Australia. He is an engaging personality; his slow and methodical approach allows for the public to engage with him and the artwork processes he utilises. Embedded in the colourful composition are a series of circular mandalas. Horatio refers to his mandalas as “sorcery/saucery”. Many of the spheres are the size of a tea saucer, some are dinner plate sized, whilst others could be a launch pad for a flying magician.
