'Faxalka' is a tableau of three fax machines reciting, in fax tones, the witch's aria from Dvorak's 'Rusalka' while transmitting images of Daryl Hannah to each other. The images are output as glitchy versions of pre-Raphaelite painter John William Waterhouse's 1900 painting 'A Mermaid.' The work was made for the exhibition 'Witches Own Without' at Current Plans, Hong Kong.
