Atmospheric Escape

"Atmospheric Escape" is about taking a breath and finding beauty or calm, even in a derelict place. The diffuse light leading up to the top left-hand side of the canvas feels like a sigh escaping through the strands of barbed wire, which are delicately painted and evoke a certain elegance of their own.
