Talking Flight
A field of fire opens — incandescent reds, molten oranges, and charred shadows collapsing downward while something luminous gathers at the center. What appears at first as destruction reveals itself as transformation.
From the scorched ground, a form emerges — fractured, winged, becoming. It is not fully defined, and that is the point. Flight here is not escape. It is ignition.
Dark drips fall like remnants of what has burned away. Above them, color lifts and fractures into light. The painting holds both gravity and ascent at once — weight and release, ash and air.
Talking Flight is about the moment after collapse, when something within refuses to stay buried. It speaks of resilience not as denial of fire, but as its alchemy — the quiet, fierce decision to rise through what tried to undo you.
Hope here is not soft.
It is forged.
