No One Walks Alone
At first glance, the surface feels layered and fragmented — vertical passages rising through washes of color, darker gestures crossing like protective arcs. But the longer you stand with it, the more the painting begins to shift. What seemed solitary becomes shared.
We move through life believing our struggles are uniquely ours. Yet every grief, every uncertainty, every rebuilding has been lived before — by countless others who have endured, adapted, and found their way forward.
The layered marks suggest presence upon presence — experience stacked across time. The darker sweeps do not isolate; they connect. Light does not emerge alone; it rises from accumulated depth.
This work speaks to the quiet inheritance we carry: the resilience of those who came before us, the lived knowledge embedded in humanity itself. Strength is rarely invented from nothing. It is transmitted — directly or indirectly — through story, memory, example, and unseen solidarity.
To feel that strength, we must remember it exists.
No one walks alone — not because we are always physically accompanied, but because the path has already been traveled, and the wisdom of many moves with us.
