As I typically paint on a large scale, working within 5 x 5" parameters challenged me to create impactful pieces in a small format. I chose dark paint to give these delicate works a bold presence. Although the application is thin, I approached each piece with relaxed, gentle movements, using red to define each mark and a green line to connect the elements.
