Echoic is a large-scale exploration of memory, texture, and natural rhythm. Inspired by time spent at the beach, this piece channels the layered impressions of sand, scattered sticks, and embedded rocks—elements that shift and settle with the tide. Through intuitive marks on canvas, I sought to recreate that fleeting yet familiar landscape, where nature’s patterns emerge and dissolve.
The result feels both terrestrial and celestial. The textures evoke the quiet resonance of waves retreating, but they could just as easily belong to the cratered surface of the moon. It’s a reflection on how landscapes, whether earthly or otherworldly, leave echoes that linger long after we’ve left them behind.Framed in. black float frame
