About This Collection

Chris James Cooper brought a rare combination to his landscape paintings — training as an ecologist and an architect, paired with a lifelong love of paint and light. His work was shown in several Ontario galleries during his lifetime, and reflects decades spent observing the natural world closely, both scientifically and artistically.

This archive holds the body of work left behind after his passing in 2010. Each painting marked “Available” is for sale at the price listed. Please use the Message button above with any questions about a specific piece, including its story or size.
