From the exhibition, "Al Fresco a la Mode" at CY Fiore (New York, NY) in 2018. This sculptural relief painting is a meditation on summer days spent playing outside and enjoying life. We are reminded of searching for clovers in the grass, jump-roping in the sun, building a small sculpture with pieces of nature, the color of the light after a short rainfall, the lure of the beach, the sadistic satisfaction in a sunburn, the last glowing light of a glorious day, and a fabulous meal with some of your favorite people.
