I photographed this tree‚'s silhouette against a phenomenal sunrise the morning after the super blue blood moon in the forest preserve. I laid it over top of an encaustic interpretation of the sky, complete with glowing moon. The text wrapping around the vertical wood is a list of 169 of the brightest stars. An eco-print made with leaves last fall sets off an abstract encaustic piece inspired by the Night Sky.
