This piece was commissioned for a young couple's first anniversary by their aunt and uncle. They supplied the wedding invitation and the Dom Perignon label and cork from their wedding gift. They told me of their love of music, nature, and art - and then gave me free reign to create a piece for them! I collaged on a page of Dutch antique sheet music, transferred a portion of a Rachmaninoff piece and a section of "the beloved girl symphony.‚" A silhouette of a champagne glass stands in front of text that describes the history and making of Dom Perignon.
