This painting was inspired by my long walks in Venice, Italy. Where the light is like no other in the world, even modest details of small residences offer inspiration. The work was created on handmade watercolor paper using watercolors, powdered charcoal and gesso giving it depth and texture. The art is float-mounted on leather-textured mat board with spacers placed between the art and the conservation clear glass and framed with complementary molding.
