The Passionate Spectator: Photography Exhibition

Photography Exhibition in partnership with the Colorado Photographic Arts Center

Being a Passionate Spectator means moving through the world with mindful appreciation. Maybe you notice the morning light shining through the window at an angle that gives your bed a golden glow. Or a hummingbird stopping at a nearby flower. Perhaps you see a smile pass between two people in the hallway. Photographers capture the spirit of the Passionate Spectator when their work helps us see the wonder in fleeting everyday moments. We hope to inspire patients, families, and staff at Children's Hospital Colorado to be Passionate Spectators by sharing a special photography show in Hamilton Gallery at our Anschutz location. This partnership with the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) will feature works by CPAC members and run from June 9 - August 18, 2023.

Ser un espectador apasionado significa moverse por el mundo con una apreciación consciente. Quizá se fije en la luz de la mañana que entra por la ventana en un ángulo que da a su cama un brillo dorado, o en un colibrí que se detiene en una flor cercana. Tal vez vea pasar una sonrisa entre dos personas en el pasillo. Los fotógrafos captan el espíritu del espectador apasionado cuando su trabajo nos ayuda a ver la maravilla en los fugaces momentos cotidianos. Esperamos inspirar a los pacientes, las familias y el personal del Children's Hospital Colorado a ser Espectadores Apasionados compartiendo una muestra especial de fotografía en la Galería Hamilton de nuestra sede de Anschutz. Esta asociación con el Centro de Artes Fotográficas de Colorado (CPAC) contará con obras de miembros del CPAC y estará abierta del 9 de junio al 18 de agosto de 2023.
