Islamic Arts: Journey of Beauty and Belief

Jannah Farooque is a visual and jewelry artist that pulls her creative inspiration from God and the inherent goodness that we all possess. As an African American Muslim who is also a wife, mother of five, Birth Doula and poet, she often explores the outward and inward realities of these identities throughout her art. She prays the totality of her work, regardless of medium, will help the world remember God and realize that nothing is ever as bad as it may seem.
