7335 W US Highway 50, Salida, CO 81201 (no longer there)

One of my favorite signs. The motel was demolished in 2021 but thankfully, they left the sign still standing. The motel had been around since at least the 1950s. It once consisted of 12 “modern rooms” and was located a block from the town’s hot mineral baths, now the town pool. The rumor is that the owners are going to rebuild a new hotel and keep the sign. Wouldn't that be great!
