from one place to another.
Fresh and new...or sporting dents and scars
from its lived experiences.
Unique; color, name, size, age.
Work is essential. Stakes can be high!
Moving, floating, holding, balancing,
persisting in staying weather and watertight.
Relies on support: oars, sails, motor,
perhaps paddling hands or waves and tides.
Devoted to recreation, livelihood, peaceful retreat,
strenuous work, or peril rescue.
Demands attention in its care and
capacity to carry on.
Designed to move forward
despite infused memories in its being. Ponders "where Am I going next".
Maintains dreams of smoother rides,
beautiful places,
exciting and new adventures.
