Artist: Jenny Wilson

Painter Jenny Wilson has made it her life's work to explore the beauty and mystery of nature through her art. Wilson's paintings are inspired by the natural world and the interplay of light and dark in the sky and horizon lines. Her work evokes a sense of wonder and contemplation, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in the vastness of the landscapes she portrays.

My creative process is carefully honed, involving multiple layers of acrylic paint on 300lb cold press watercolor paper or stretched canvas. I work on multiple pieces at once, taking black-and-white photos of places I have been to use as compositional references.

Since the beginning, I have invited my girls to create along side of me in the studio. I knew art was an important part of my life and I wanted to share that with them from a very young age. The girls' artwork has developed over the years into their own styles and stories. Sophia being focused into textiles, fashion design and crochet. Audrey has found her passion in drawing, painting and photography. Each one of us, explores human nature whether its with a memory of place, a dress from the past, or a portrait of loved ones.
