Alexa Mosley is a biracial freelance multimedia artist from New Mexico who creates vivid, introspective work through color, detail, text, and imagery. She earned her BFA in 2023 from the University of Colorado Denver with an emphasis in Painting & Drawing and Illustration. She runs her art company Made By Alexa Mae LLC from her studio at Prism Workspaces.
Coming from a biracial family, Alexa approaches life with an optimistic and reflective perspective that deeply shapes the way she creates and engages with her work. Rooted in experimentation, she works across acrylic, watercolor, oil, marker, ink, spray paint, and charcoal. Her vibrant imagery becomes both a reflection and an invitation encouraging viewers to embrace their complexities, find beauty in diversity, and embark on a journey of self-exploration.
She creates both commissioned and independent work that reflect her artistic vision. In 2025, she completed the CBCA Advancing Creatives Intensive. She teaches mobile paint parties in Denver, and mentors at RedLine Contemporary Art Center. Her work has been exhibited at The Denver Art Museum, Four Mile Historic Park, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, the 16th Street Mall, Emmanuel Gallery, Downtown Hobbs, New Mexico, and many local galleries, festivals and shops throughout Denver. Art is her voice, passion, and pathway for sharing creativity with the world.
