Gallatin, TN is really a very charming town, though it certainly doesn't look so here. I sketched this scene in 2010, I believe, when I was the houseguest for several days, of Al and Dawn Bunetta. Al was the long time manager of songwriters John Prine and Steve Goodman, and was one of the nicest guys on the planet. This scene is looking up toward the town square from right next to where Randy's Record Shop and Dot Records were located back in the day.
