The taxis of Havana are the best. One can geek out for hours on end at the parade of 50's, 40's and even 30's American cars rattling past with varying degrees of purpose in Havana. As fellow painter Adreas said, "You can tell who our friends have been at any given time by looking at the cars. The Americans used to be our friends. Then the Russians were our friends. Now the Chinese are our friends."
