MessageMy family lived in Milford, NH until I was 10 years old, and I walked home from school many afternoons along the extremely poorly-maintained rails of the Boston and Maine Railroad's Hillsborough Branch. Vestiges of railroading's glory days were still visible, including some wayside structures that bore the B&M cream-and-maroon paint scheme. They're pretty hard to find nowadays, so imagine my delight when nosing about the commuter rail terminal in Rockport, Mass in autumn 2019, and coming across this beautiful freight house; disused and in rough shape, but still proudly wearing its faded livery.
