This piece is a branching out for me. My wave series has been largely 2-d, this piece has a wing which curves out from the wall. Croceus Orbis is part of my wave series, inspired by ocean waves, wind flow, water, bird wings, and flight. It is made from hand gathered and processed by the artist bamboo and handmade glass. It hangs from two nails on the wall. It can also be suspended away from the wall for more dramatic shadows.
