She is beautiful in her expression, I could relate to her so much that I just couldn’t resist painting her. “Wyse” is not a type but intentionally spelled in this archaic way of spelling wise to convey both age and wisdom of this lady.

A photo reference from a site I love to use called “Wildlife Reference Photos for Artists”. I love to paint species at risk but, unfortunately, I cannot travel to those remote sites nor would I always be able to see them if I could because they are so rare. These references allow me to study them as paintings and I donate a part of the sales proceed to a local wildlife centre.
