This is my latest large painting. There are tons of moose in our region and I confirmed with some of my woodsmen friends as I went along, pictures were never good enough so mostly went with what I knew but I never got THAT close.

Musiyap Kce-wewis translates into Curious Bull moose in Malaceet indigenous language. I had my friend name him and I love that he used his native language to do so!
