Mother Nature

I have a fascination with flamingos lately. I love their colouring, especially when they are well fed on shrimps, but mostly their ability to move their necks around almost every way possible! Their behaviours are just as much a curiosity to me. Did you know they mate for life and that the male takes as much a part at raising the chicks as the female do! This is my interpretation of a wee part of their nesting grounds. The transformation that chick will go through is just amazing, mother nature sure does her thing well! Oil painting on cotton canvas.
