"Heading South" is a bit of a Summer nostalgia piece for me. I am always excited to hear the geese arrive in the Spring, but it also makes me sad when they leave in the Fall.

Those geese have a bad rep but they are always a favourite of mine in the Spring! On the other hand, seeing them going South in the Fall is also a sad moment! I love to just stop by the road and watch them. Do you know they mate for life?
