I had a lot of fun creating Open the Doors. The play of vivid colors with the mix of definite shapes and more muted ones give the eyes so much to look at. I see something "other-worldly" perhaps with floating doors going by? Do the doors represent possibilities? The round shapes create a path for the eyes to follow around the painting. This piece encourages me to stay open to the many unknown possibilities life may present. I hope I have the courage to Open the Doors when the time comes! I wonder what you see in this piece?
