Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is one of the most beautiful places on the Oregon Coast. My son had the opportunity to play a round of golf there with the Jr. PGA program. This painting is an abstract representation of the 16th hole. I used a process of using opaque paint then layering with glazes. This tension of pushing things back and pulling things forward resulted in a painting with depth and energy. If you ever have the opportunity, visit Bandon, Oregon!
