From 2007 to 2012, I was afforded the opportunity to work and study with a renowned fused glass artist. This led to establishing my own fused glass studio, by Kaki. In addition, I completed several classes in stained glass design and innovative approaches to the creation of glass jewelry. I currently reside in Greensboro with my husband and dog, Toby.
To me, this magical process which includes heating the glass to 1500* is so interesting. My equipment allows me to watch as two or more pieces of glass melt and flow together actually changing from one form to another. I find the range of colors, techniques, and textures to be fascinating. Each piece is unique and one of a kind.
