Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, Texas is a favorite place to visit and has been the inspiration for several of my paintings, as well as this latest painting, Enchantment at Wildseed Pond.

The pond itself at Wildseed Farms is not shaded, so the blue of the sky is so beautifully reflected in the water. So many colors and textures were reflected in the pads as the warm sunshine reflected off the water and onto the lilies and the pads.

***Enchantment at Wildseed Pond was awarded Honorable Mention at the Wimberley Valley Art League's 15th Anniversary show recently. Wimberley, Texas is a quaint, beautiful art village in Central Texas.
