Rhythm & Gesture - Artist Within Gallery (2025)

March 7 - May 23, 2025 Cedars Spring exhibition will feature artists working in an abstract style, expressing themselves through the rhythm and gesture of their mark making. With bold brushstrokes,  splatters of paint, or delicate lines and textures, the work evokes a wide range of moods and emotions. Instead of depicting what something looks like, the work is concentrated on the artist's poetic engagement with the materials and processes of art making

Roller Coaster- Online Exhibition (2020)

July 17 - August 17, 2020 Featuring art made by our dedicated, resilient artists in their own homes or Cedars residences, with the remote encouragement and assistance of Cedars staff. Roller Coaster captures the spirit, courage and imagination of our Cedars artists during their shelter in place. These unexpected times have led us to find creative approaches and valiant expressions as these artists navigate life’s new dips and dives.

Small ART Big HeART - Artist Within Gallery (2022/2023)

December 3, 2022- February 10, 2023 Come join Cedars for our annual show of small, affordable, givable, collectible art! All Cedars artists are represented in this special exhibition, and as always, have been pouring their hearts into their work. Come share the love!

Summer of Love Remix - Artist Within Gallery (2023)

June 16 - September 18, 2023 The music, values and culture of the 60's helped shape our world in so many ways. Come see how the distant spirit of the Summer of Love beats on in the hearts of Cedars artists! They express that spirit through loving portraits of the Beatles and Tina Turner, through joyfully kaleidoscopic drawings of flowers and butterflies, and through brave works of political protest and self-advocacy.

Third Annual Pet Parade - Artist Within Gallery (2023)

September 8 - November 17, 2023 Bring on the marching bands and twirling batons! Pets are on parade again! Marin Humane and Cedars artists team up for our third annual show of adopted pet portraits. Every hair, feather, scale, and whisker were lovingly created from hundreds of pet photos submitted by adoptive pet parents. Meet Widget the Chihuahua, sleepy gray kitty twins Shadow and Skye, Poppy the bunny, and many other lucky pets who have found new happy homes.
