Sometimes, to get through the winter, you need to think about the spring. Redbud trees are common here, and this is from my back yard. There is just a brief sprint of about a week when it's in its full glory, that I captured here in watercolor. I liked watercolor because of its ability to capture the luminosity of the pink leaves highlighted by the sun. This original is 15" x 10" and is on archival Canson board, ready for framing.
