Remaining authentic and avoiding the fickle chaos of modern humanity is a challenge. My portraiture aims to strip away superficial layers, allowing the subject’s true nature to emerge. Despite Andy’s rugged exterior, his kind, serene gaze invites engagement, much like that of a familiar friend. This creates a welcoming atmosphere that holds the viewer’s attention. Influenced by Impressionism, pixelated layers capture the interplay between his toughness and gentleness, making the work compelling and difficult to ignore.
