Took a drive along Skyline Drive with my husband and just had to try and capture this view. Talk about chasing the shadows. Arrived at 9:30 and set up and finished 90 minutes later, but the view had already changed. This is the view at Thorofare Mountain Overlook 3500+ feet above sea level. Between mile markers 40 and 41. There are 75 overlooks along the whole Skyline Drive. This is just one of them.
