The energetic soft sculpture, Stuffed Helicopter, is composed of a linocut in relief ink on fabric, then sewn and stuffed between layers of airy yellow tulle and muslin. The wall sculpture has structure from the stuffed components and is complete with a circular hanging component.
The imagery of vaulting and architectural remnants can be found throughout Rigdon's work and has been an active part of her visual lexicon since 2012/2013.
Each example is unique in the way the yellow tulle is integrated into the form.
