Framed.
This work came about over weeks. It began with a pattern of random squares. This foundation eventually became less and less evident as line and form took hold, along with colors and gestures. I like to work with previous ideas seeping through the upper layers as I discover where I am headed. In the end, almost like a tornado, the force of my subconscious through my brush took over. The statement was completed. Only after several weeks did I discover the totality coming together and telling me what it stood for.
